For portraits and headshots, I like to use the 85mm. I think it keeps me at the perfect distance from people that I'm photographing and the images always come out awesome. 📸
Distance is important when taking someone's photo. Too close and you run the risk of your subject becoming uncomfortable and having their eyes cross. Too far and you risk losing the collaboration that comes from being able to communicate with each other.
From headshots to full-body portraits, the Nikon Z 85mm prime lens is my choice for capturing photos in the studio and the field.
